In a world full of screens—smartphone, laptop, TV, and tablet—you sometimes just want to get away from it all. That’s why you can focus your Girl Scout experience on getting outdoorsin the comfort of our cozy cabins! All units, cabins, and lodges are equipped with air conditioning.

Templeton Lodge
Troop or Family Cost as $25 per bed for GSNETX members
Features one large bunk room which sleeps 16 (7 bunk beds, plus one ADA single bed in the girls’ room), and 2 bunks for adults in two separate adult rooms. The lodge also contains bathrooms and showers, plus an indoor kitchen/activity area, and 2 outdoor fire circles.

Tejas Timbers Lodge
Troop or Family Cost as $25 per bed for GSNETX members (Rental includes only the use of the designated troop camping area and does not include the rest of the lodge. The main lodge may be reserved or in use during the day by other groups).
Features a large room, 9 bunks in the girls' room, and 3 beds in the adult room. Bathrooms and showers adjoin, and there is a small troop kitchen and 2 outdoor fire circles.

Glen Oaks Cabins

Historic cabins constructed in the 1940s have been updated to include air conditioning, heat, new beds, and an updated indoor kitchen/ activity area. There are 30 sleeping spaces. Cabin 1 has 6 beds. Cabins 2-4 have 8 beds each. Cabin 2 is wheelchair accessible. The kitchen and latrines are in separate buildings within the Glen Oaks lodging area. There is 1 indoor fireplace in the kitchen/girl gathering building and 2 outdoor fire circles.
 

Cedar Lodge Cabins

Primitive Camping Sites
All primitive camping sites have a fire circle and benches. Potable water is accessible at the sites April-November/December dependent on weather conditions. Each site has 1 fee without additional fees per person. Fees are based on square footage. Restrooms are located at the Crystal Charity Ball Exploration Center. Additional restroom and shower are located at Hickory Hollow. No cat holes are allowed at any of our lodging areas as human waste must be disposed of through City of Dallas sewage services.

Pod 1 $50 – 2,160 Square feet close to Pod 3
Pod 2 $60 – 3,240 Square feet long and rectangular
Pod 3 $50 – 1,890 Square feet close to Pod 1
Pod 4 $75 – 2,916 Square feet with shade options
Pod 5 $75 – 3,574 wide open space with little to no shade

 

Lodging Reservations
Reservations can be made through the link here. All reservations for troop and family camping are posted 60 days out. Reservations close 1 week prior to weekend check-in at camp. All balances must be paid prior to coming to camp.
